Driving Lessons in Coventry with your DSA Approved Driving Instructor Pete Frost at Direct Drive. Very experienced and well respected as a patient instructor with a good sense of humour and high pass rates.

The Lessons

You will need a provisional driving licence before you can start your lessons.

Lessons can be 1 or 2 hours long. Pick up is from home, place of work or wherever is convenient for you. Each lesson is exclusive to you and there will be no one else (other than your instructor) in the car.

The Car

You will take your driving lessons in a Renault Clio, 1.5 Diesel car which has dual controls.

 

 

 

The Theory Test

You must pass the Theory Test before you can take your Driving Test.

The Theory Test is in 2 parts both of which are taken on a computer. Firstly a timed test consisting of multi choice questions based on the Highway Code. Secondly a Hazard Perception Test which consists of a series of video clips of everyday road scenes in which you have to identify the correct hazard.

The Driving Test

Your Driving Test will start with an eyesight test and some vehicle safety questions. You will then start your practical driving test which will include some specific manoevres. The driving part of your test will last about 40 minutes.

It will now also include Independent Driving as part of the test.
